More than 200 thousand hryvnias of damage during the reconstruction of the stadium: law enforcement officers sent the case of an official to the court
Nikolaev law enforcement officers have completed a pre-trial investigation against the director of the stadium. The man aimed to appropriate budget funds and entered into official documents false information about the volume and cost of work. In addition, he did not fulfill the relevant conditions for the reconstruction of the stadium.
According to the conclusions of the conducted examinations, as a result of such actions, it caused the state budget losses totaling more than 200 thousand hryvnias.
Law enforcement officials recall that in June the defendant was informed of suspicion of committing crimes stipulated in Sections 2 and 3 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Appropriation, squandering of property or possession of it by abuse of official position” and Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Service counterfeiting”.
Now the investigators finished the investigation and sent the criminal proceedings to the prosecutor's office, which sent the indictment to the court for consideration on the merits.
