“REVENGE”. GUARD OF THE OFFENSIVE. How it all began
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine continues a special project in which it tells about each of the brigades of the “Guard of Offensive”. In this series we talk about “Revenge” — the legendary 3rd border detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Yevhen Pikus. Border guards have been fighting since 2014.
They were one of the first to give a decent fight to the enemy. The 3rd Border Troop played an important role in protecting the state border and fighting Russian terrorists. In September 2022, the Border Guard detachment was awarded the honorary award “For Courage and Courage” by the decree of the President of Ukraine.
In January In 2024, the 3rd Border Troop named after the Hero of Ukraine Yevhen Pikus became a brigade and was named “Revenge”.
His fighters are already carrying out combat missions to repel enemy aggression.
“The time will come when we drive the enemy out of our land. “Revived to win” is the slogan of our “Revenge”, - the commander of the Luhansk border detachment Colonel Oleksandr Osipets is convinced.
