Police collect evidence at shelling sites and document war crimes of Russian troops in Mykolaiv region
The enemy does not stop daily attacks on residential areas of Nikolaev and settlements of the region. Due to the terror of the Russian military, civilians are killed and injured.
Today, around 3:05, enemy troops launched massive attacks on Nikolaev. Currently, investigative and operational teams are working at the scene, experts - forensics, explosives technicians, rescuers and other units. Information about the injured and about the damage is being clarified.
During July 16, Russian invaders attacked Nikolaev, shelled settlements of Lotskine, Shevchenkove, Zarya, Estuary of Shevchenkivska, Ingul and Galitsynivska communities.
As a result of the explosions, residential buildings, outbuildings, premises of two enterprises and infrastructure were damaged. There are dead and injured among the civilian population.
Law enforcement officers daily document crimes committed by Russian occupiers against civilians. For each fact, criminal proceedings are opened under Art.
438 Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the rules and customs of war”.
Last day, the police processed 602 appeals of citizens. Almost all of them concerned the consequences of shelling.
