Police ensure security and order in the de-occupied Kharkiv region
Police units resumed their work in the territories liberated from the enemy in the Kharkiv region. Police officers ensure public security and order in nine areas of de-occupation: Balakleysky, Kupyansk, Izyum, Zolochiv, Lipetsk, Volchansky, Chuguivsky, Velikoburlutsky, Borovsk.
The situation in the region remains tense. Kharkiv and Dergachiv districts were subjected to rocket attacks last day. Employees of the investigative and operational teams processed and recorded the damage. Criminal proceedings have been opened. Kharkiv police responded to 1463 reports from citizens about offenses and events.
In order to prevent illegal weapons and drugs from entering settlements at checkpoints, law enforcement officers together with military personnel inspected 4613 vehicles.
On suspicion of involvement in sabotage and reconnaissance groups and in carrying out propaganda activities, 13 people were brought to territorial units for verification.
Last day, during the examination of the territory of the city and the region, the police discovered five facts of illegal drug trafficking and detained persons from whom narcotic substances were seized.
In addition, police officers continue to take care of the safety and social protection of residents of the city and region, provide food and necessities to de-occupied settlements, help citizens evacuate dangerous areas.
Work on the survey and demining of settlements is ongoing. Employees of the Explosive Service of the National Police of Ukraine with the beginning of the de-occupation measures surveyed the territory with a total area of about 1458.45 hectares. 23285 explosive items were recovered, of which 2054 were destroyed.
Investigative units of the National Police of Ukraine carry out measures to register war crimes in liberated settlements. In total, since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, 1537 war crimes have been registered, of which the most under Art. 438 Criminal Code of Ukraine — 1364, according to Art. 111-1 Criminal Code of Ukraine — 149 and others.
