Kharkiv police document aftermath of shelling of Saltovka by Russian troops
Ammunition hit near a shopping center. In some places, walls were destroyed, windows and doors knocked out, and a car was also damaged. There are no injured citizens.
Kharkiv district police departments No. 1 and 2 received reports that on August 4, around 22:00 Russian troops shelled a residential neighborhood.
Investigators, forensics, and explosives technicians work at the scene. Law enforcement officers conduct an inspection, remove fragments of ammunition, document the consequences of shelling.
On this fact, the investigative district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
