Police of Kharkiv region will call for questioning a possible participant in the accident Oleksandr Yaroslavsky
Recall, the incident happened yesterday, February 9, in the evening on the highway “Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky”. In the event of the accident, the police opened criminal proceedings under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and established all the circumstances of the incident.
Previously, the police have already established that on February 9, at about 22:55 in the area of 534 km of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway, an unidentified car, moving from the side of the city of Chuguev in the direction of Kharkov, hit a pedestrian - a man about 50 years old. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died.
Investigators of the Kharkiv police opened criminal proceedings under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the fact of the accident. In particular, the event is qualified under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) and under Part 3 of Art. 135 (leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Within the framework of criminal proceedings, law enforcement officers establish the identity of the deceased, as well as all the circumstances of the accident. In addition, the police establish the identity of the driver, and also call for questioning a possible participant in the accident.
The maximum penalty under the sanction of the article provides from 3 to 8 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to 3 years or without it.
Recall, earlier it was reported that in Kharkiv the police establish the identity and circumstances of the pedestrian's death.
