In the Kherson region, Russian occupiers continue to purposefully destroy crops by shelling agricultural lands with incendiary shells. Every day there are large-scale fires, hundreds of hectares of wheat, barley and other cereals have already burned, protective strips and forests are burned out. Currently, both the de-occupied settlements of the region and those temporarily under occupation are affected by enemy shelling.

Due to constant shelling, it is extremely difficult to extinguish such fires in the de-occupied territories, and on the occupied lands the Russians deliberately do not allow extinguishing fires, the invaders destroy grain warehouses, agricultural machinery and solar power plants. In order to save at least part of the crop, people work on equipment next to the wall of fire.

Only this week, fires were recorded in the Kherson region in forests and fields due to shelling. As a result, 12 hectares of grain crops were set on fire near the village of Rozlev of Belozersk territorial community, as well as a pine forest in the Oleshkivsk territorial community. Due to the presence of Russian troops there, no one was able to extinguish the fires.

As a result of shelling of Henichesky district, a fire broke out in a wheat field near Novooleksiyivka village and Novopokrovka village. Crop burnout and agricultural machinery.

After the shelling by the Russian troops of the Kakhovsky district, a pine forest on an area of more than 5 hectares was set on fire.

Russian servicemen shelled the Velykoalexandrovsk territorial community. There was a fire of crops of winter wheat and barley with a total area of about 150 hectares.
