Most of the criminal proceedings on these facts have been initiated in the Luhansk region. This was announced today, August 10, by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the air of the All-Ukrainian Telemarathon #UАразом.

“Since the beginning of preventive measures, law enforcement agencies have initiated nearly 4,000 criminal proceedings related to cooperation with the occupation forces, including espionage, collaboration, sabotage, intelligence and other activities directed against the national interests of Ukraine. According to these indicators, we have the largest number of proceedings in Luhansk region — 1,145, then in Zaporizhia — 636, in Kyiv — 300 criminal proceedings, in Kherson and Ternopil — just over 200 criminal proceedings,” Yevhenii Yenin said.

The First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also noted that over the past 24 hours the National Police received information about shelling of 42 settlements.

“As a result of these shelling, we have dozens of dead and up to fifty wounded. Dnipropetrovsk region, Sumy region, Donetsk region, Mykolaiv region, Chernihiv region, Kherson region and Kharkiv region are in sight. In terms of the number of attacks, Kharkiv region is already approaching Donetsk region, it has been shelled almost three thousand times, Donetsk region - a little more than three thousand. In almost all areas that are subjected to shelling, we record damage to private and apartment buildings,” Yevgeny Yenin said.

Separately, Yevgeny Yenin added that currently law enforcement officers are observing a gradual increase in the dynamics of committing crimes: “Many of them are related to the illegal circulation of weapons, some — with violation of public order. However, the curfew and the presence of a significant number of checkpoints helps to keep the criminogenic situation under the control of law enforcement,” Yevhenii Yenin said.
