Police record consequences of occupiers' shelling in Donetsk region
Occupation troops shelled a kindergarten in Zelenopilla, and in Nikolaevka a civilian was wounded as a result of a direct shell hitting the house. Investigative and operational teams of the police are working on the spot.
In the village of Mykolaivka, near Volnovakha, a woman was injured as a result of a shell rupture. Personal data of the victim is established.
Distance from s. Zelenopillya of the Bakhmut community to the demarcation line - 5 km. Police officers document the aftermath of the shelling and help local residents. The work of the police on the spot is supervised by the head of the Bakhmut district police department Dmitry Prystupin. Four children who were hiding in the basement with their caregivers at the time of the shelling were taken away by their parents.
In addition, a house was damaged on Jubilee Street, an elderly couple was inside during the shelling.
Information about the destruction and the victims is being clarified.
According to the facts, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
