Police delivered about 7 tons of humanitarian aid to residents of de-occupied territories of Donetsk region
Police officers ensure law and order in 43 liberated settlements of the region. Police efforts are primarily aimed at protecting citizens and providing for their first needs. Law enforcement officers bypass every house and respond around the clock to citizens' messages. Every day, half a hundred people seek help from the police.
Stabilization measures continue in the Kramatorsk region. Police continue to work out Estuary, Svyatogorsk, Drobysheve, Torskoye, Zarechne, Novoselivka and other de-occupied settlements.
As of today, law enforcement officers have bypassed almost 7,000 houses. Of these, 1194 homes were destroyed as a result of Russian shelling, and more than 1,000 were damaged. The most painful issue for residents is the lack of food, as well as all communications. Together with the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the police brought about seven tons of food and other aid, in the last day alone — more than a thousand kilograms.
In Svyatogorsk, round-the-clock work of the police station was resumed, in Lyman — the duty station. The police accept all applications and notifications of citizens. Due to the lack of communication, most residents turn directly to law enforcement officers who serve on the streets and checkpoints. In total, more than 250 reports of criminal offenses and other events were registered in the liberated territories.
Thanks to information from residents, 35 burial sites were discovered, 33 of them in Svyatogorsk, and two mass burials in Lyman. So far, 98 bodies have been found, of which 49 have already been identified — all civilians. Two facilities where the Russian military were based and a torture chamber were documented.
Explosive service workers surveyed an area of more than 60 hectares and recovered 723 explosive items. The demining of liberated areas continues.
