Police document war crimes in Dnipropetrovsk region
During the night, the enemy several times shelled the city of Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivsk, Mirovsk and Marhanets communities, as well as Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih district. As a result of the attacks of the invaders, people were not injured.
On the night of October 11, from the Zaporizhzhya region, the Russians shelled the Chervonohryhoriv community from the Grad SSR. As a result of the attack, more than ten private houses, outbuildings, gas lines and power lines suffered destruction and damage. In homes, windows, doors, roofs and fences were damaged.
With heavy artillery, the occupiers also shelled the city of Nikopol. The gas station and the shop were damaged. In the Marhanets and Myrivska communities, the invaders targeted the coastline. Also at night, the invaders from the “Hurricanes” shelled the Zelenodolsk community of the Kryvyi Rih district, as a result of which the gymnasium with the lyceum was destroyed.
According to the collected materials, criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, law enforcement officials are establishing the extent of the damage. The collection of physical evidence and documentation of the consequences of the shelling continues.
