Transcarpathian police stopped the activities of a group of drug dealers, whose monthly income reached 1.5 million hryvnias (VIDEO)
Employees of Mukachevo district police department, together with SBU officers, exposed a group of Mukachevo, who established a network of drug sales in the city and district. The suspects were informed of the suspicion and placed in a temporary detention center. They face up to 10 years in prison.
It is known that the organizer of the group is a foreigner who lived on the territory of Ukraine. The defendant brought two more Mukachevs to the case, one of whom has already been convicted of drug crimes. The attackers distributed particularly dangerous drugs, such as alpha-PvP (“salt”), opium extract and marijuana. The monthly income of intruders amounted to approximately 1.5 million hryvnias.
In order to stop their activities and collect evidence, law enforcement officers carried out a number of clandestine measures, including control purchases.
At the place of residence of the defendants, the police conducted searches. Among those seized are dozens of syringes used for packaging, synthetic drugs, herbal drugs, devices for their use, cash, mobile phones, electronic scales and rough records of those involved.
All material evidence was examined by experts. Currently, the operatives are establishing a channel for their receipt to the defendants.
Three suspects were informed by the investigators of the Mukachevo district police department, under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutor's office, about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In accordance with the sanction of this article, for drug trafficking, detainees face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
