The police of the Kherson region reported the suspicion of another collaborator
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations of the Kherson region established that a resident of the temporarily occupied territory of the Skadovsky district voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the military of the Russian Federation.
Thus, during the operational-search activities to identify persons who went to cooperate with the occupiers, employees of the Strategic Investigation Department established the involvement of a 52-year-old resident of Veliky Kardashian in collaborative activities. In particular, the woman voluntarily expressed a desire to lead the occupation authorities in the village of Kardashinka, Skadovsky district.
The occupation leadership of the highest rank agreed with her appointment and the so-called “head of the village administration” immediately began to implement activities in the administrative territory assigned to it in accordance with the tasks of the aggressor state.
In particular, the respondent selected and appointed subordinate employees to positions in the rural administration. Also, the attacker personally controlled the selection of personnel for educational institutions located on the territory of the villages of Kardashinka and Velyka Kardashinka, carried out propaganda work to popularize the actions of the aggressor state and the armed formations of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the guarantor supervised the registration and provision of material assistance and other social benefits to residents in the monetary units of the Russian Federation.
Investigators qualified the wrongful actions of the defendant under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. That is, voluntary occupation by a citizen of Ukraine of a position related to the performance of organizational, administrative and administrative and economic functions, in illegal authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory, including in the occupying administration of the aggressor state.
Given that the perpetrator is located on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region, she was informed in absentia about the suspicion of committing a crime against the foundations of national security of Ukraine.
The procedural guidance of the pre-trial investigation is carried out by representatives of the Skadovsk District Prosecutor's Office. The suspect is currently facing imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
