Police of Kharkiv region processed 1312 statements and reports from citizens during the day
In order to prevent illegal weapons and drugs from entering the region at checkpoints, law enforcement officers together with the military inspected more than 3,760 vehicles. On suspicion of involvement in sabotage and reconnaissance groups and in carrying out propaganda activities, 14 people were brought to the territorial units for verification.
Police officers actively detect and investigate criminal crimes on a daily basis. Fighters of the special police regiment on Kharkiv Heroes Avenue stopped the hooligan actions of a man who threatened a citizen with an object similar to a gun. The investigative and operational team documented the fact of the offense and took the person to the police department to find out the circumstances of the incident.
Kharkiv investigators reported a suspicion of a 16-year-old assailant who inflicted knife wounds on his acquaintance. Criminal proceedings under the article “attempted murder” have been opened.
District police officers discovered in Slobozhanske the fact of selling cigarettes without excise stamps. Tobacco products were seized, in relation to the seller, the police drew up a protocol on an administrative offense.
Work continues on the survey and demining of settlements. Since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, employees of the Explosive Service of the National Police of Ukraine have surveyed the territory with a total area of about 1974.7 hectares. 26826 explosive items were seized, 4508 destroyed.
Investigative units of the National Police of Ukraine carry out measures to register war crimes in liberated settlements. In total, 3608 war crimes have been registered since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, of which the highest number is under Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) — 3197 and Article 111-1 (collaborative activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — 353.
