Police of Kharkiv region last day provided prompt response to 1456 reports from citizens about offenses
The Russian military continues to strike from all types of weapons on civilian facilities in Kharkiv region. Employees of investigative and operational teams and forensic experts of the police during the day worked out 10 facts of destruction of dwellings and other objects in the region as a result of shelling and opened criminal proceedings. The personnel of the GUNP in Kharkiv region on suspicion of involvement in sabotage and reconnaissance groups and in the conduct of propaganda activities, 80 people were brought to the territorial units for verification.
In order to prevent illegal weapons and drugs from entering settlements, law enforcement officers together with military personnel checked more than 3,500 vehicles at checkpoints.
Last day, during the examination of the territory of the city and the region, the police discovered two facts of illegal drug trafficking. Narcotic substances were seized from the violators.
Investigators have announced a 52-year-old man on suspicion of attempted theft. The police detained him for trying to remove food and low-alcohol drinks from the supermarket.
In the lobby of the metro station “Palace of Sports”, a police outfit found a 50-year-old citizen who was wanted for theft.
During the past 24 hours, the police compiled three administrative documents on drivers for driving vehicles in a state of intoxication.
Police units resumed their work in the liberated territories. Law enforcement officers ensure public security and order in 9 areas of de-occupation: Balakleysky, Kupyansk, Izyum, Zolochiv, Lipetsk, Volchansky, Chuguivsky, Velikoburlutsky, Borovsk.
Work on the survey and demining of settlements is ongoing. Since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, employees of the NPU Explosives Service have surveyed the territory with a total area of about 2035,2 hectares. 26908 explosive items were seized, 4588 destroyed.
Investigative units of the National Police carry out registration of war crimes in the liberated settlements. In total, 4006 war crimes have been registered since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, of which the highest number - 3583 - under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) and 364 - under Art. 111-1 (collaborative activities) of the Criminal Code.
