Police opened 27 criminal proceedings on facts of war crimes of Russian military in Kherson region
The settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts came under enemy attacks. Against the civilian population, the invaders used reactive systems of salvo fire, artillery and mortars.
Shells damaged private and high-rise residential buildings, garages, shops, pharmacies, cars were cut by shrapnel, and ruts formed on the roads.
Police officers worked at the scene, who recorded the facts of armed aggression of the Russian military and collected material evidence.
The police received a message from medical workers that the hospital in the city. A resident of Kherson came to Nikolaev with a mine-blast injury and foot fractures, which he received in Kherson region, after blowing up on a car.
The police receive statements from residents of Kherson, who for a long time cannot contact their relatives from the temporarily occupied Kakhovsky district. The applicants were able to learn from neighbors who managed to leave the territory controlled by Ukraine that their relatives may have been forcibly deported to Russia.
For all the facts of Russian aggression against the civilian population, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
