Police conduct investigative actions in “Kyiv Metro”, “Metrobud” and structural units of the Kyiv State Administration
Today, December 13, the investigators of the Kiev police began conducting simultaneous searches within the framework of criminal proceedings on the qualification “Service negligence” (Part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) in municipal institutions of the city and at a private enterprise.
The investigation aims to verify the presence of miscalculations at the stages of design, construction and operation of the subway, as well as to identify responsible persons, as a result of which depressurization and flooding of the tunnel of the Kiev metro occurred.
The metro stations also served as shelter for Kiev residents and guests of the city during the air alarms. In addition, due to the accident in the subway, thousands of people are forced to look for other ways to get around the capital.
The police are taking all possible measures to redistribute land transport routes, unload the passage and facilitate the movement of Kiev residents.
