Police of Nikolaev and Kherson region records evidence of enemy attacks over the past 24 hours
At night, the troops of the aggressor country launched a missile strike on the regional center of the Nikolaev area: civilian infrastructure was damaged, among the civilian population there are casualties.
At the moment, damage to the car dealership, shopping center, private homes, shops and industrial infrastructure is known. A 28-year-old woman was killed. There was a fire at some facilities. Rescuers located her.
Police, rescuers and other specialized services work at the scene.
At the same time, during the past day, law enforcement officers documented the consequences of shelling of Kherson region by the Russian army: a hospital, an enterprise, a gas station were damaged, three children were injured.
Communities of Beryslav and Kherson districts were under the devastating blows of Russian troops. Civilian settlements were shelled by the occupiers with rocket systems of volley fire, heavy artillery, mortars, aircraft and UAVs.
The enemy launched air strikes on the village of Kizomys and the city of Beryslav, damage was recorded to the hospital building, residential buildings, industrial workshops on the territory of a non-working enterprise and a gas station. The occupiers opened mortar fire in the town of Kozatske, as a result of which a 49-year-old local resident was wounded. For almost three hours, the enemy fired from artillery in the village of Mykhailivka of the Novooleksandrivka community, dropped munitions from drones on the territory of the cemetery and its surroundings. No human casualties or significant destruction have been recorded.
Residential quarters of Kherson were shelled by the enemy army around the clock, the city center and coastal areas came under shelling from the left bank of the Dnieper. Private and apartment buildings suffered damage and destruction, enemy shells caused fires.
The occupiers covered the village of Molodizhne, Kherson district, with heavy fire, as a result of which three children were injured. An 8-year-old girl has a mine-blast injury and brain contusion, her 10-year-old sister and 7-year-old brother have an acute stress reaction. A 49-year-old resident of the village received a mine blast injury and concussion. Also in Molodizhny, damage to apartment buildings and private houses was recorded, cars were cut by fragments.
Police, rescuers and medics worked at the scene, helping the victims, recording the consequences of the attacks. Over the past day, the police opened 29 criminal proceedings under Article 438 “Violation of the laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
