At the same time, law enforcement officials urge people not to ignore alarms, to remember the curfew for the period of martial law and the ban on the use of pyrotechnic devices. The spokeswoman of the National Police of Ukraine Mariana Reva reported this during the live broadcast of the “United News” tele-marathon.

She also stressed that in the conditions of a full-scale war of the Russian Federation, during the New Year holidays, one should first of all remember about security measures.

“People will gather at home and celebrate holidays, so the police are ready to ensure maximum security during this period. Of course, we must monitor compliance with all the requirements of the martial law. First of all, people should remember that there is a curfew, and that air alarms cannot be ignored no matter what day it is - festive or not. Because we understand how insidious our enemy is,” said a spokeswoman for the National Police.

At the same time, she recalled that in the police units and in the deployed mobile points of the NPU there are heating points where citizens can turn for help.

Mariana Reva also urged people not to violate the ban and not to use pyrotechnic devices.

“Pyrotechnic devices, their sale and use almost throughout the territory of Ukraine are strictly prohibited. Therefore, the police will respond to such cases. I appeal to people who already have some intention of doing this. Don't do that, please. First of all, think of people who can perceive the sounds of fireworks as explosions. And let's remember, worry about each other, support,” the representative of the NPU advised.
