Police of Kyiv Region Detained Suspect of Sexual Assault on 4-Year-Old Girl
Late in the evening of May 18, the police received a report about the rape of a minor.
The police found out that the girl's mother asked an acquaintance to stay with the child during her absence. When the teenager was in the apartment of a friend, a family guest committed sexual violence against her.
“Law enforcement officers detained the scoundrel who raped the child — a 48-year-old native of Berdyansk, previously convicted of robbery and robbery,” said the head of the police of the Kiev region Andriy Nevitov.
On the fact of rape, the investigators of the police department of the Kiev region, following the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, began a pre-trial investigation (part 4 of Art. 152 KKU). The defendant faces up to 15 years in prison.
The issue of reporting the suspicion is currently being resolved.
