Today, January 14, police officers, including forensic specialists and investigators, received from the world-famous philanthropist two state-of-the-art ANDE 6C devices, with which it is possible to isolate the DNA profile and further establish the identity.

For a long time, areas of the Kiev region were occupied by enemy troops who cynically killed civilians and tried to destroy the Ukrainian people. After the liberation of the territory from the invaders, law enforcement officers discovered bodies in the streets, in houses and mass graves.

“More than 1300 people were examined by police officers after the de-occupation. More than 700 were buried, all others died as a result of mine explosion injuries. In many cases, we are not able to establish data or even gender. Therefore, DNA laboratories are absolutely necessary for the identification of the dead, prompt disclosure and investigation of war crimes,” said the head of the Kiev police Andriy Nevitov.

The mobile DNA laboratory makes it possible to conduct an investigation and a detailed inspection of the recovered biological samples at the scene of the incident. In addition, an important advantage is the rapid isolation of the DNA profile — within 60 minutes.

“I was familiar with these labs and it was confirmed that they would be useful. It is very important to document the evidence to bring the perpetrators to justice. The police infrastructure suffered from a full-scale Russian invasion. No police force has ever shown more courage or commitment to their country,” said Howard Buffett on the eve of the transfer of the DNA machines.

Criminals from Kyiv region underwent training on the basis of the company “Biolabtech” to quickly identify a person by DNA profile on the ANDE 6C device and received the corresponding certificates.
