Kiev police detained girls who danced on the graves of servicemen: they face up to 5 years
Yesterday, August 24, at around 18:00 police, while monitoring social networks, saw a video where two girls dance on the graves of dead soldiers in one of the capital's cemeteries.
Two sisters posted on social networks a video of dancing in the cemetery near the graves of the soldiers. In less than an hour, law enforcement officers established their whereabouts and took them to the police station. For what he has done, he faces up to 5 years in prison.
Law enforcement officers of Kiev transferred targeting offenders to all police outfits. In less than an hour, the patrols stopped the Kyivans near the metro station “Zoloti Vorota” and took them to the Desnyansk police department.
As it became known, two sisters came to the Forest Cemetery and decided to “honor” the memory of the deceased defenders of Ukraine.
Investigators of the Desnya Police Department, in agreement with the district prosecutor's office, initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - desecration over the grave. The issue of notifying them of the suspicion is resolved.
The defendants face a restriction of liberty for a period of three to five years or imprisonment for the same term.
