Police record the aftermath of a terrorist attack by the Russian army on Kherson region: 24 dead and 46 injured, including two children
The Russian army carried out another act of terror against the civilian population of the right bank of the Kherson region. The settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts were continuously shelled from rocket systems of volley fire, artillery, aircraft and UAVs. The enemy purposefully and insidiously attacked crowded places at the railway station, in a construction hypermarket and supermarket, at a gas station, targeted high-rise buildings and private sector neighborhoods, at police, medics and rescuers who helped the victims.
As a result of the brutal shelling, 24 civilians were killed, 46 people were seriously injured, including two children.
Near the village of Muzykivka, the enemy fired on a brigade of power engineers repairing power lines, as a result of which three workers were killed.
As a result of another air strike by guided bombs in the village of Kizomys, 8 residential buildings were damaged.
During the enemy shelling of Tokarivka village, a 47-year-old man was killed in his own yard.
The occupiers shelled a cottage cooperative in the village of Ivanovka, Beryslav district, resulting in a 62-year-old man being wounded in his own house.
Kherson is under daily shelling by the Russian army. In the past 24 hours, the city suffered perhaps the biggest attack in recent months. In residential quarters and places of accumulation, the enemy army fired artillery and projectile systems of salvo fire.
3 people were killed and 5 wounded during the shelling of the only worker in the city building hypermarket, which now stops its work.
The occupiers struck the railway station and the surrounding area, along Parovoznaya Street and Ushakova Avenue, as a result of which 4 people were killed and 13 wounded.
As a result of the shell, the passenger train car completely burned out. The
enemy shelled the supermarket on Myra street and nearby houses on I.Kulyka street and Beryslav highway in Dniprovskiy district. As a result, 7 dead and 26 injured, including two children aged 7 and 17, as well as two police officers.
A 65-year-old woman was killed near the dormitory on I.Kulika street as a result of shelling. Three women aged 68 to 91 were killed during the shelling of the private sector of the Dniprovsky district, and a 75-year-old man was wounded. Russian troops shelled the town of Antonovka, where a 74-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man were killed.
According to the facts of war crimes of the Russian army in the Kherson region, the police opened 38 criminal proceedings.
After the mass murder of civilians in Kherson region on May 3 by the Russian army on May 4, 5 and 6, days of mourning for the dead were declared in the region.
