Police record the consequences of shelling by Russians in Kharkiv and Kherson region over the past 24 hours
During the past day, the Russian military attacked Kharkiv, Chuguevsky, Izyum and Kupyan districts.
In the evening of May 9, the occupiers fired a rocket attack on the city of Kupyansk. Previously, the rocket “Iskander”. Civilian buildings and private houses were damaged. Three civilians were injured: 57 and 59-year-old women, a 46-year-old man.
In the village of Petropavlivka, a private residential building, a garage and outbuildings were damaged.
Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged in the villages of Cherneshchyna Izyum district and Hatyshche Chuguev district.
In addition, in the past day, Russian troops fired from RSFs, artillery, aircraft and UAVs on peaceful towns and villages on the right bank of the Kherson region. The enemy attacked again with air guided bombs of S.Stanislav and S.Kizomys, there destroyed a paramedic post, some of the bombs fell into the water. As a result of enemy artillery shelling in the village of Odradokamenka, a 53-year-old local resident was injured, who was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
In the regional center, the occupation troops purposefully hit civilian infrastructure. The city was shelled with RSVP and artillery, shells damaged the building of the shopping center in the Dnipro district, resulting in a fire, damaged residential quarters and houses of townspeople in the center, neighborhoods of Krabel, HBC and suburban settlements. In the village of Zelenovka due to enemy shelling, the school building was damaged, windows and doors were knocked out there.
Investigative and operational teams, experts and explosives technicians worked at the scene. On the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
