Police document consequences of shelling in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops conducted 24 strikes on Donetsk region, shelling was registered in 13 settlements. Civilians were killed and there were wounded.
The enemy covered with fire the cities of Avdiyivka, Kurakhovo, Slavyansk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, the village of Hostre, New York, Ocheretyne, Yampil, the villages of Bogoyavlenka, Vovchenko, Vremovka, Georgievka.
The occupiers terrorized the population with air strikes, X-58 missiles, rocket salvo systems, artillery, tanks.
Destroyed and damaged 47 civilian objects — 32 residential buildings, boarding school, administrative building, boiler house, utility buildings, power lines, cars.
Massive shelling from aircraft and jet artillery was withstood by Avdiyivka. Russian shells killed a person, 4 more injured. Two apartment buildings and a private house were damaged.
Two guided aerial bombs attacked Toretsk. 4 multi-apartment buildings and 9 private houses, infrastructure were destroyed. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties among the civilian population.
At New York, the Russian army directed an X-58 missile, damaged 6 private homes. A person was injured.
The Russian military targeted the residential sector of Slavyansk with a rocket. An apartment building and 5 private houses, three civilian cars were damaged. There was no information about the victims.
As a result of enemy attacks, we have a dead man in Chasovy Yar and a wounded man in Georgievka.
Also last day, law enforcement officers recorded the consequences of hits from kamikaze drones and barrel artillery of the enemy in the Nikopol region.
On May 21, from 06:20 the armed forces of the Russian Federation fired three times on the settlement of Myrivska hromada.
Civilian infrastructure suffered from the attacks: a cultural institution, a post office, a medical outpatient clinic, agricultural enterprise buildings, private houses and a passenger car were destroyed. Walls, roof and windows were damaged.
People were not hurt.
Police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
