Police detained two “lawbreakers”
Law enforcers have established all spheres of their activities and connections. “Vora in the law”, being in the status of suspects in proceedings for spreading criminal influence, organized several so-called “pickets” with the participation of representatives of the criminal law to resolve conflicts and coordinate criminal activities.
At the “meetings” they decided to allocate financial assistance from the so-called “thieves' community” for the “festive needs” of the criminal and “lawmen” who are in places of imprisonment. They also gave broader “powers” to the leader of the OZG - the collection of funds received criminally in the territory of Odessa.
The evidence collected by the operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations and the investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in cooperation with the Office of the Prosecutor General became the basis for the detention of “the guards in the law” under the nicknames “Umka” and “Lasha Svan” in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. They were informed of suspicion of organizing and participating in a criminal gathering.
The pre-trial investigation in the proceedings for the dissemination of “wama in law” criminal influence has been completed, and the indictment has been referred to the court.
Prosecutors are preparing a petition in court to elect detained leaders of the “top” of the criminal world preventive measures. It is known that “Umka”, crowned in 2014, and “Lasha Svan”, “in law” since 1995, received their “titles” from top representatives of the Russian criminal world.
Within the framework of this criminal proceedings, investigators and investigators continue to carry out a set of measures to collect evidence of illegal activities of other representatives of the crime in order to bring them to justice.
For organizing and participating in the so-called “eschydka” (part 1 of Art. 255-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) “doors in law” may be threatened with imprisonment for up to twelve years with confiscation of property, and for spreading criminal influence (Part 3 of Art. 255-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) - up to fifteen years in prison.
