Police arrest four people suspected of killing people
Law enforcement officers detained two attackers in Dnipropetrovsk region. And in Sumy region, according to the results of coordinated work of law enforcement agencies, suspects in the attempted murder of two people were detained.
The day before, a conflict arose in one of the apartments of the Shevchenkivsky district of the city of Dnipro. The attacker inflicted several blows on the head to the owner of the apartment out of jealousy. Then - numerous blows to the head and torso of the former 30-year-old roommate. The 29-year-old injured man was hospitalized.
The offender was detained by the police in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. On August 21, the investigators informed him of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in part 2 of article 15, part 2 of paragraph 1 of art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Attempted murder).
And in Kryvyi Rih, a 30-year-old man struck a 36-year-old victim with a knife in the neck area. From the injuries, the man died.
The attacker was detained by law enforcement officers in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. A weapon of crime was seized at the scene - a knife. At the moment, the man has been informed of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
In addition, in Sumy region, according to the results of the coordinated work of law enforcement agencies, suspects of attempted murder of two people were detained.
This is a resonant event that took place on July 13, 2023 in the city of Lebedyn. That day, two previously known men met at one of the local shops around 11 o'clock in the afternoon. There was a conflict between them. They decided to conquer it, leaving for the forest on the outskirts of the city. The men took with them another acquaintance and left separately in 3 cars. The
communication between them ended with the two men beating their opponents, according to preliminary reports, beatings, and shooting with firearms. The victims, men in their 40s and 25 years old, received serious bodily injuries, including penetrating gunshot wounds in both.
After the assassination attempt, the attackers fled the scene. One of the attackers was detained by law enforcement the next day, and the accomplice has since been wanted. However, as a result of the coordinated work of law enforcement agencies, it was possible to establish his whereabouts and to detain him in the city of Lebedyn on August 17, 2023. The
actions of both suspects are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 15, Clause 1 and 12 Part 2 of Article 115 (completed attempted murder of two persons committed by prior conspiracy group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
