Police of Kherson region took a colleague Andrei Tarchinsky, who died as a result of Russian shelling, on the last trip
On September 23, a farewell to the deceased as a result of the Russian shelling by a 49-year-old policeman of the patrol police response sector of the police activity sector on the water of the Kherson RUP GUNP in the Kherson region was held by senior police sergeant Andriy Tarchinsky.
The policeman's life was cut short by an enemy shell when Russian occupiers massively shelled Kherson on September 19.
To pay their last respects and say goodbye to the fallen hero came relatives and friends, the leadership of the police of the Kherson region and the regional administration, the service staff of Andriy, his fighting comrades and not indifferent townspeople.
Andriy took a direct part in the anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine in 2014 as part of a company of the special purpose police patrol service “Kherson”, left the Ilovai area, saving the fighters at the cost of his own health. After the Ilovai tragedy, he ensured law and order in the cities of Kurakhovo, Donetsk region and Svatove, Luhansk region. He lived by the principle: never throw comrades — neither on the battlefield nor in life.
Friends and colleagues remember Andrei as a very modest, decent and honest person who will always come to the aid of others. He faithfully and selflessly served the Motherland and the Ukrainian people and will forever remain a shining example of selfless love for the chosen cause.
