Police seized excisable goods worth 5 million hryvnias from illegal circulation (VIDEO)
More than 250 boxes of tobacco products were found by law enforcement officers during a search in Dnipro.
Searches took place on October 26 with the participation of officers of the Criminal Police of the Dnieper District Police Department and employees of the Territorial Directorate of BEB in the Poltava region, within the framework of open criminal proceedings under Art. 204 (illegal manufacture, storage, sale or transportation for the purpose of sale of excisable goods) Criminal The Code of Ukraine.
During the procedural actions, law enforcement officers removed from illegal circulation counterfeit tobacco products: 127 thousand packs of cigarettes, which were stored in the garage. The investigation is currently ongoing.
The operation “Excise” continues. The main goal is to stop illegal trade without paying taxes in the markets of fuel, spirits and tobacco products.
