Police seized a 5-month-old baby from a local resident who was drunk on the street at night
The boy was hungry and was in the cold in light clothes. In relation to the grief-mother, law enforcement officers drew up administrative materials for drinking alcohol and failing to fulfill parental duties. In the future, it will be handled by social services.
Recently, employees of the sector of combating domestic violence of the Podolsk police department received reports of a family quarrel in an apartment on Mezhova Street. Arriving for a call, security guards found a 31-year-old Mujan and her acquaintance outside the house, who were intoxicated on the street, and next to them was a stroller with a baby.
The woman told the police that she visited relatives and quarreled with them on the basis of drinking alcohol, which caused her to go outside. At the same time, the Kyyanka said that she does not want to take care of her 5-month-old son and wants to leave him. The boy cried loudly - despite the cold outside, he was in light clothes, the woman also reported that the last time she fed him was at lunch.
Since the life and health of the little ones were in danger, law enforcement officers took the child away from his mother, calmed and warmed him in a company car. In addition, the police called colleagues from juvenile prevention and doctors to the scene, who later hospitalized the boy to a medical facility.
Regarding the grief-mother, the inspectors compiled materials according to two articles of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses - under Part 1 of Art. 178 (Drinking alcoholic beverages) and h. 1st Art. 184 (Failure to fulfill parental duties). The decision on the punishment will be made by the court, in the future this family will be engaged in social services.
