Police sent to court an indictment against six more occupiers - looters

During the temporary occupation of the village of Bogdanivka, in the Kiev region, the Russian military mistreated the civilian population, under threat of weapons the Russian army took away from civilians everything that was of value to them.

It was found that the invaders broke into people's homes and, under threat of weapons, took away household appliances, gadgets, jewelry, clothing and even hygiene items, including the owners' electric toothbrushes, which were already in use. From garages, Russians stole small equipment: bicycles and mopeds. It was found that war criminals took over 18 dwellings of local residents.

At the end of March 2022, retreating, the invaders took the loot to the territory of Russia.

The defendants were informed of the suspicion of committing the crimes provided for in Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war).

Currently, the indictment against six war criminals is directed to the Brovary District Court. They face up to 12 years in prison.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
