Police reported suspicion of a “woman watching” for drug traffic in the building of the detention center
For the spread of criminal influence and the distribution of drugs, she can face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Thus, in November 2023, law enforcement officers exposed the activities of the criminal group and reported suspicions to the organizer and its participants. The organizer of this group was the so-called “spy” for drug traffic in one of the buildings of the detention center.
As accomplices, he involved individuals from the will and detainees of the detention center. Each suspect had clearly defined roles in the process of acquiring, transporting and subsequent marketing of narcotics. During the subsequent investigation, the police identified several individuals who were also part of the criminal group. One of them was a 50-year-old native of Kiev.
While in the detention center, she received the status of the so-called “spectator”. Her duties included controlling drug traffic in the women's building of the institution. The respondent received “goods” from the organizer of the group, to whom she later transferred funds from its sale.
Prohibited substances came to the state institution through transfers. Drugs were carefully disguised among other things. Part of the “profit” went to replenish the so-called “community”, the rest - to purchase new batches of drugs. Every month, the participants of the group spent more than 500 thousand hryvnias on the purchase of goods.
On May 4, on the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators reported suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 255-1 (Establishment or dissemination of criminal influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The accomplice responsible for the acquisition of drugs was reported on suspicion of part 2 of Art. 306 (use of funds obtained from the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues, precursors, poisonous or potent substances or poisonous or potent drugs) Criminal The Code of Ukraine.
In addition, another member of the group, who was engaged in packing and delivering drug packages to the detention center, was also suspected. He is charged with part 4 of Article 321 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, transportation, shipment, storage for the purpose of marketing or marketing poisonous or potent substances or poisonous or potent drugs) and part 3 of Article 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the issue of electing participants out of the will of precautionary measures is being decided.
