Police quickly found a 4-year-old girl in Bukovina
On the evening of June 8, a report was received on the special line 102 that a 4-year-old child disappeared from the courtyard of a private house in the village of Nedoboivtsi, Dniester district, and the place of her entry is unknown.
Law enforcement officers, together with concerned citizens, quickly found the minor and handed her over to her parents. During the period of disappearance, no illegal actions were committed against the wanted person.
For the search for a young girl by order of the head of the GUNP in the Chernivtsi region Viktor Nechitayl, the police personnel were oriented. Also involved in the search were Nazi guards, rescuers and villagers. Law enforcement officers carefully checked the places of possible whereabouts of the girl, interviewed possible witnesses and eyewitnesses. The search was complicated by the fact that a forest strip and tall grass were not far from the child's habitat.
Thanks to the coordinated work of law enforcement officers and caring citizens, the 4-year-old girl was quickly found. The child moved away from the house for almost two kilometers, and was found near the forest at about 23.00 hours. During her absence, no illegal actions were committed against her. The child was handed over to his parents.
Juvenile police officers conducted preventive work with parents to prevent such cases in the future.
