Police of Odessa region establish the circumstances of the accident in which a seven-year-old boy died
The car accident occurred on July 6 on the road connecting Odessa - Reni within the village of Orlivka.
Previously, law enforcement officers established that the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes car, moving through one of the streets, ran over the boy when he ran across the carriageway in an unprepared place for crossing. The victim was taken to the hospital, where, unfortunately, he died from the injuries received.
At the scene of the incident, employees of the territorial police unit work. Law enforcement officers establish all the circumstances of a traffic accident. The driver of the vehicle was checked for alcohol intoxication - he is sober. The issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles, which caused the death of the victim or caused serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code is resolved. of Ukraine.
