Police officers of the Odessa region found an elderly woman who, returning home, fell and lay in the forest lane for several days
At the moment, the 74-year-old woman is in a medical institution under the supervision of doctors, the danger to her life has passed.
Yesterday, April 17, a 52-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Starokozatsk community contacted the hotline “102” with a report that her elderly mother left home on April 13 and the family cannot find her.
The police found out that the old woman used to visit friends, stayed with them for a day or two and returned, so the relatives first tried to find her on their own, and when they realized that they were wasting time, they turned to the police for help.
Law enforcement officers immediately began a search and within two hours found the pensioner. The woman was lying in the forest lane and could not get up.
“The old woman was given emergency help, she was given a drink and brought home, where an ambulance called by the police was already waiting for her. Doctors determined that the woman had hypothermia and dehydration, noted that if she had stayed without help for some time, they would not have been able to save her,” said the head of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district police department Pavlo Bobchinsky.
In turn, the police urge everyone in the event of a disappearance of a person, especially children and people of respectable age, not to waste time, but to immediately contact the territorial police unit or the special line “102”.
