Police officers courageously serve in the Time Yar
Despite constant shelling, there is a constant police presence in the city. Under enemy fire, the next part works, the investigative and operational teams go to the calls.
Bakhmut Police Chief Artur Marianyan visited police officers in their places of deployment and delivered humanitarian aid from partners.
As you know, Chasiv Yar is attacked daily by Russian troops. Children have been evacuated from the city for a long time, but residents remain. The police help them. Those on duty take calls, send outfits to rescue people.
“During the day there were 38 registrations, most of them related to Russian shelling, deaths and injuries of civilians,” says Artur Marianyan. The head of the district police department checked the service in the “hot spot” and made sure that the guys stand firm.
Less than a kilometer from the front line, law enforcement officers hold the defense at the checkpoint. It is closest to Bakhmut. Everywhere there are signs of enemy shells hitting.
“At the checkpoint during the day it flies 3-5 times. But we carry a service. We have been given tasks — we are fulfilling them. Victory will be behind us — I always say so,” smiles the policeman, despite the sounds of explosions.
After visiting the checkpoint, the leadership group went around Chasiv Yar. During the raid, an offense was documented: in one of the houses where people no longer live, the police found prohibited alcohol products. Owners of illegal goods are established.
