Police of Luhansk region identified persons suspected of cooperation with the occupiers

Law enforcement officers identified two people suspected of involvement in illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation and cooperation with the Russian occupation forces.

According to this fact, criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Creation of paramilitary or armed formations not provided for by law).

Among other things, the police of Luhansk region received 8 reports of destruction and damage, as a result of shelling by the occupying forces of the Russian Federation, private houses in the cities of Rubizhne, Popasna and the villages of Zolotarivka and Verkhnekamyanka and apartments in the cities of Popasna and Severodonetsk.

There was also a report that the military of the Russian Federation deprived of liberty a resident of the Shchastin district, who was placed in a pre-trial detention center. According to this fact, criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war).

In addition, the police registered two reports of illegal possession of vehicles. In the m. Rubizhne and s. Orphaned unknown persons took possession of citizens' cars.

During the past 24 hours, the police of Luhansk region processed 64 reports of crimes and events.
