Kiev police have tightened security measures in the city
On May 8 and 9, law enforcement officers together with NGU servicemen, representatives of the DFTG will intensively patrol the city streets, parks and squares.
Ensuring public safety and order will also take place in places where flowers may be laid, including near memorials, through the display of walking outfits. Also on these memorial days, law enforcement officers will monitor law and order near cemeteries.
Police officers once again urge citizens not to ignore air alarm signals and pass to the nearest shelter. There is a mine hazard in forest strips in the deoccupied territories of the region, so law enforcement officials insist not to spend rest in forests and on the coasts of water bodies.
Also, the police once again remind that in Kiev there is a curfew from 00:00 to 05:00. At this time, it is forbidden to move around the streets of the city.
We call on all residents of the capital to strictly observe the restrictions of martial law.
