Donetsk region police documented 31 Russian strikes in the region
During the day, the enemy shelled 13 settlements. The target of the Russians became residential buildings. There are civilians killed and wounded.
The Russian army attacked the cities of Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Kurakhovo, Toretsk, Krasnogorovka, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, villages Opytne, Karlivka, Illinka, Berkhivka, Ivanopillya, Orlivka. The occupiers fired from artillery, tanks, RSDV “Grad”, “Hurricane”, mortars.
Destroyed and damaged 24 civilian objects — 13 residential buildings, a school, a boiler house, shopping pavilions, a shop, household buildings.
Fifteen strikes were inflicted by the invaders on Avdiyivka. One of the arrivals, which occurred around 8 o'clock in the morning, took the lives of civilians, there are injured. An apartment building and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
With artillery, the Russian military fired on Bakhmut. 8 private houses, outbuildings and a garage were destroyed.
Police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
With the help of the police, 221 more people were evacuated, since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation more than 23,300 people, among them 3721 - children, 1233 - people with disabilities.
