Dnipro police established the involvement of the townspeople in the dissemination of communist symbols
On April 19, passers-by reported to the police that an unknown person was publicly displaying symbols prohibited by the legislation of Ukraine on the balcony along Leonid Stromtsov Street.
Employees of the Dnipro district police department arrived at the scene and found the violator. He turned out to be a 37-year-old local resident. The flag with communist symbols was seized by law enforcement officers from the man.
Currently, investigators are resolving the issue of handing the man a report of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 436-1 (production, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national-socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
