Combining IT technologies and principles of barrier-free access in the Ministry of Internal Affairs optimized the work of the Military Medical Commissions

According to the results of the implementation of SE “INFOTEH” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the functional unit “Military-Medical Commission” of the medical information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine:
- the period of passage of the commission was reduced to 3 days;
- minimized the queue on M (VL) K;
- reduced time for registration of acts for persons already registered in the system;
- instant control of the passage of the commission is carried out;
- a record of repeated appeals is kept;
- the register of patients of M (VL) K.
For the period May 19, 2023, August 2, 2023, 2522 people were accepted through the M (VL) K system.
Priority directions and ways of improvement of the M (VL) K system through the introduction of IT technologies, barrier-free and professional development of doctors are defined.
In order to optimize the processes of military medical expertise in the state institution “Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the city of Kiev”, in particular, implemented:
- conditions of unhindered access of low-mobility groups of the population during the passage of the VLC;
- improvement of the electronic queue at the VLC, which was built by the registrar M (VL) K by means of a personalized route of passage by the patient of the doctors of the commission;
- equipped waiting places at VLC 100%;
- 100% electronic document flow has been introduced.
