Threatened with weapons and murder of relatives: the next dispatcher was informed of the suspicion
Investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have identified a Russian soldier who raped two local women, one of them a minor, during the occupation of Kherson region in May 2022. The occupier threatened them with firearms and the murder of family members.
We are talking about a 26-year-old lieutenant of the armed forces of the Russian Federation from the Leningrad region, who during the occupation of Kherson region was a commandant in several villages of Vysokopil ATG.
According to the investigation, the criminal entered the territory of the households of local residents and, threatening the inhabitants of the houses with a weapon, kidnapped women, born in 2005 and 2007.
It was found that he drove them by car outside the village or to their temporary residence, where he fired a pistol at the victims' heads, beat them, threatened to kill them and members of their families — and thus forced them to engage in sexual intercourse with him against his will.
Investigators of the National Police of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General informed the occupier of the suspicion of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with the cruel treatment of civilians (Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
