The capital's security guards have repeatedly visited the shelter at the VDNG. Having learned that the volunteers are in dire need of help, they responded this time and together with the children handed over food and helped to walk the animals.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, volunteers of the Metropolitan Temporary Animal Shelter at VDNG have been rescuing disadvantaged dogs and cats who, like humans, are suffering from war. Most of them were lost, fleeing shelling or, having lost their owners, were left to waste. There are animals in the shelter, which our soldiers take out of combat zones.

Juvenile policemen of the Podolsk Police Department together with concerned citizens handed over animal feed to the organization and, together with the children, joined the walks with the residents of the shelter. The children were happy to make friends with four-legged terriers Eva and Molly, and a real handsome Husky breed named Duke.

Police call on Kyiv residents to join possible asylum assistance. Information about the schedule of visits and the needs of the center can be found on their official pages on social networks.

In the walls of a small pavilion, dogs and felines are waiting for you with a difficult fate and not lost hope for love and care. And who knows, maybe it is during this meeting that you will find yourself a faithful and loyal friend.
