Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Rivne region received special equipment for demining from partners from the USA
On the basis of the special purpose emergency and rescue unit of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Rivne region, there was a working meeting between the Rivne rescuers and the founder of the charity foundation “TIP OF THE SPEAR Landmine Removal”, a specialist in the field of mining Ryan Hendrickson.
An American colleague handed over a large amount of equipment to the pyrotechnic units of local emergencies, namely:
- work for demining;
- 50 Kevlar helmets;
- 30 armor vests of the 4th class;
- 10 combat anti-shrapnel suits;
- 10 minesweepers and other additional equipment.
This equipment will be actively used by Rivne pyrotechnics during the demining of de-occupied territories in eastern and southern Ukraine.
