Fire engineers of the State Emergency Service continue to deport agricultural land
In de-occupied settlements and where the security situation allows, work on demining and bringing the territories to a safe state continues.
Events are held in Mykolaiv region, in particular in Bashtansky and Mykolaiv districts of the region. To date, 17 pyrotechnic units from different regions of Ukraine have been involved in these works. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 14902 units of multi-caliber ammunition have been detected and seized, which are defused in the prescribed manner: either at the detection site in case of transport danger, or in a specially designated place.
Much attention is now paid to the mining of agricultural land. Since the de-occupation of the settlements of Bashtansky and Mykolaiv districts, and the cessation of active hostilities, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service have examined 31,000 hectares of fields that are already cultivated by farmers and prepared for sowing. On April 26, one of the pyrotechnic calculations also worked on the field near one of the villages of Pervomaisk communities of Mykolaiv district. Step by step, sappers traversed the field, checking every inch of land with minesweepers and probes.
Rescuers of the Nikolaev area remind all citizens that the danger of injury from explosive objects remains. You can come across them anywhere, so you should always remember the rules of mine safety and strictly follow them.
