Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue to work on ensuring the most transparent conditions for passing exams. Therefore, the pilot project to ensure transparent exams from December 1 is expanding throughout Ukraine. It starts in Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions.

From December 1, theoretical and practical exams will be taken exclusively by those service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the specified areas that participate in the pilot project. The list of departments that will conduct examination activities can be viewed on the website of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the “Contacts” section. Other service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in these areas, as before, will provide citizens with services for registration and re-registration of vehicles, exchange and issuance of national and international driver's license, vehicle disposal.

Pilot project for transparent exams The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched six months ago. It went through 3 stages. The first started in Lviv, Kiev, Odessa and Vinnytsia regions. Then it spread to other regions of the country. In total, the pilot project involved service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 12 regions. The theoretical exam from the first time was taken by only 24% of the candidates for the driver, and the practical exam - 35%. These figures indicate poor preparation of future drivers for traffic and driving vehicles.

Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which take exams from future drivers, will become a kind of examination hubs. They are equipped with video cameras with audio recording that will capture the sound and leave no blind areas. This excludes any possibility of possibly interfering with the exam and receiving a tip from outsiders.

High demand for exams is monitored in Zhytomyr and Sumy regions. In this regard, the list of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that will carry out examination activities is expanding. Therefore, from December 1 in these regions, theoretical and practical exams will be additionally taken in two more service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: No. 1844 in the city of Zvyagel in Zhytomyr region and No. 5943 in Akhtyrka, Sumy region.

We also remind you that within 10 days, future controllers can challenge the results of the exams. To do this, you must apply to the regional service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region in which the examination was held. And receiving a copy of the video is available within 30 days.

Service in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs takes place by preliminary e-recording: the theoretical exam is 14 days ahead, and the practical one is 21 days ahead. In addition, recording is available through the terminal in the premises of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Vouchers in it are generated on the day of application and 3 days ahead.

In order to better master the knowledge of traffic rules and successfully pass the exams, future drivers can undergo training through an online simulator. It reflects the questions that are included in the list of the theoretical exam. To pass the test, you need to answer 20 questions in 20 minutes. During the test, 2 errors are made, if more - the exam is not passed. The next attempt will be available no earlier than 10 days.
