Support for women police officers: Kateryna Pavlichenko held a meeting with the leadership of the International Association of Women Police
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko held a meeting with the leadership of IAWP-International Association of Women Police in Auckland.
Kateryna Pavlichenko with the president of the International Association of Women Police Debora Fridl and the Association's Executive Director Jane Townsley discussed the issue of supporting women police officers, especially in the context of war.
Every police officer should feel recognized for their contribution to the cause of maintaining law and order and security. Particular attention during the meeting was paid to psychological support, which can be especially important in the context of challenges associated with the service.
In addition, they agreed to strengthen cooperation between the Ukrainian Association of Representatives of Law Enforcement Agencies - UAPPO and the International Association of Women Police Officers, in particular in the work of committees.
“I consider this an important step in the development of our relations and the exchange of experience. We will strengthen cooperation both at the level of the 15 MAJP region and with adjacent regions,” the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs said.
