The units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an international cyber security training in Poland
In the Polish city of Szczytno, on the territory of the Police Academy, a cybersecurity training was held. The event, which lasted from November 27 to December 1, was aimed at improving the professional skills of employees of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs engaged in cybersecurity.
13 specialists from Ukraine took part in the training: representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the State Border Service, the State Border Service, the National Police, the Migration Service and Polish colleagues from 17 voivodeships. Representatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at the US Embassy in Warsaw also joined in.
These are the first compatible trainings of this type, which are focused mainly on the protection of critical infrastructure facilities. Participants of the training had the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the field of “OSINT” (open source intelligence), protection of ICT systems and threats of external interference.
At the end of the training, representatives of CISCO, WB Electronics, Netformers, MCX and Comcert organized simulation games “Cyber Fortress”, where cyberdefense-related situations were simulated.
The event was organized by the Department of Communication and Information Technology of the Main Directorate of Police in the city of Szczytno and the leadership of the Police Academy.
