The units of the State Emergency Service eliminated the consequences of shelling in Zaporizhzhya region
On July 21, the SNS sappers recovered 3 units of shell residues from the rocket system “Hurricane”, 1 shell residue from the “Grad” jet system and 1 cassette element, which they found in the settlement of Polovskiy district. Explosive items are destroyed by appropriately trained pyrotechnics in compliance with safety rules.
During the day, as a result of enemy shelling, there were 2 fires in Zaporizhzhya and Pologovskiy districts. In one case, firefighters eliminated the burning of a residential building on a total area of 50 square meters. In the second, dry grass burned on an area of 1 ha.
To ensure the domestic needs of the population, the employees of the State Emergency Service carried out the delivery of 20 tons of technical water in the cities of Orikhiv and Gulyaypole and the village of Mala Tokmachka of the Pologovsk district.
In total, 56 rescuers and 18 units of equipment were involved from the State Emergency Department to carry out humanitarian demining, fire elimination and assistance.
The units of the State Emergency Service are on high alert and in the territories where the fighting continues, after the end of the shelling, they are involved in the elimination of the consequences of emergency events.
