Forged documents of state institutions and the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: the attacker will be tried in Lviv region
Law enforcement officers have exposed a 54-year-old resident of Lviv region who carried out illegal transactions with forged documents for the departure of persons abroad.
The police found out that the man on order produced documents of state institutions with holographic elements and emblems, in particular, documents of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The defendant arranged a workshop for making fakes at home. I searched for clients through the Internet. A driver's license and vehicle registration certificate, passport, higher education diplomas, death certificate, combat certificate, and even excise stamps for alcohol products could be purchased from her husband.
In addition, the company was in great demand documents, thanks to which conscripted men had the opportunity to issue official permits for unhindered travel outside the country. Among them are certificates of unfitness for military service and removal from military registration.
For a fake disability pension certificate and accompanying medical documents for a fictitious disability group, the attacker received $500.
The man was declared a suspect under Part 3 of Art. 332 (Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine) and Part 3 of Art. 358 (Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has already chosen the defendant a preventive measure in the form of detention with the right to make bail.
For organizing the transfer of persons across the border and falsifying documents, the attacker faces up to nine years in prison.
